Iktotchi

The Iktotchi are a horned near-human species native to the harsh, wind-scoured world of Iktotchon and its moon Iktotch. Known throughout the galaxy for their innate precognitive senses, all Iktotchi experience glimpses of future events through dreams, flashes of insight, or waking visions. These impressions are rarely controllable, often symbolic, and sometimes overwhelming, but they grant the species an uncanny awareness of danger and the flow of events around them.

Culturally, the Iktotchi value emotional restraint and personal discipline. Although deeply feeling, they learn from childhood to hide their emotions behind a carefully maintained stoicism. Outsiders often misunderstand them as cold or inscrutable, not realizing the effort required to keep their intense inner lives in check. Their foresight makes them excellent pilots, diplomats, and tacticians, but it also creates tension with other species who may distrust or resent their insight.

Those who leave Iktotchon often do so seeking purpose—some as Jedi, others as negotiators, scouts, or soldiers hoping to avert the conflicts they sense long before they manifest. Physical Description: Iktotchi are humanoid with thick, tan skin hardened by constant exposure to fierce planetary winds. Two large downward-curving horns grow from their skulls, with females typically having smaller horns than males. Their facial features are angular, their eyes range from yellow to orange, and their hands are broad and powerful. Their rugged physiology reflects both their harsh environment and their intense emotional depth.
