Dowutins are massive, tusked humanoids native to the icy world of Dowut. Towering over most species, Dowutins are built for brute force and survivability. Their thick hides protect them from harsh cold, while their fierce, primal instincts make them fearsome warriors and unrelenting predators.

🧬 Physical Description: Dowutins are enormous beings with thick, mottled skin, massive horns, and prominent tusks. Their size makes them difficult to ignore, and their booming voices and powerful limbs inspire awe—and fear—among those around them.

💫 Traits

💪 Intimidating Presence. You may use Strength instead of Charisma for Intimidation checks. Once per encounter, you may attempt to frighten a creature within 10 feet (DC = 8 + Proficiency + STR modifier Wisdom save or become Frightened for 1 turn).

🥶 Cold Resistance. You have Resistance to Cold damage.

🧗 Grappling Strength. You have Advantage on checks made to Grapple or Shove a creature.

🛡️ Natural Armor. You gain a +2 bonus to your AC.

🚫 Bulky Form. You have Disadvantage on Stealth and Dexterity saving throws.

🧱 Armor Limitations. You cannot wear manufactured armor unless it is custom-fitted for your size and physiology.

😠 Cold-Blooded Temper. When reduced to half HP or lower, make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, you enter a rage-like state on your next turn: you must move toward and make a melee attack against the nearest creature. While raging, you gain +2 to melee attack rolls and suffer -2 AC. This state ends after one turn or if no creatures are in range.

🗨️ Unrefined Demeanor. You have Disadvantage on Persuasion checks.
