Hysalrian

Hysalrians are towering, four-armed, semi-serpentine beings native to the swamp world of Gormo in the Hysalria system. Their lower bodies are powerful coils of muscle adapted for swimming and climbing, while their upper bodies resemble a lean, four-armed humanoid with a broad head and four small, dark eyes. To most outsiders they seem strange and imposing, but among their own people Hysalrians are known for patience, quiet wisdom, and deep spiritual discipline.

On Gormo, Hysalrians maintain secluded enclaves and schools devoted to studying the Force. Young Hysalrians spend years in structured training, learning meditation, discipline, and the tradition known as the Spiral Way—an introspective philosophy that teaches that all things move inward to understand themselves, then outward again to serve the galaxy. Their long lives give them a widened perspective on conflict and change; they rarely rush, preferring careful observation and considered action over impulsive decisions.

Most Hysalrians remain in their marshy home, content to contemplate, teach, and guard their traditions from outside disruption. A rare few, however, feel the spiral pulling them outward. These individuals leave Gormo to walk the wider galaxy as scouts, healers, mystics, or even Jedi, bringing with them an uncanny physical grace, piercing perception, and a strangely unhurried presence that can be either comforting or unsettling to their companions.

Physical Description: Hysalrians possess long serpentine lower bodies instead of legs, allowing them to coil, swim, and anchor themselves with ease. Their upper torsos are vaguely humanoid but feature four slender, coordinated arms. Their heads are broad with a small mouth and four small, black eyes, arranged to give excellent depth and motion awareness. Skin tones are typically muted greens or pale tones with lighter, segmented underbellies. Their movements are smooth and deliberate, more like a great serpent than a humanoid sprinter.
