The Next Generation of Star Wars Tabletop Adventure

    Gamorrean

Gamorreans are green-skinned, porcine humanoids native to the war-scarred world of Gamorr. To most of the galaxy they are "pigs"—hulking, simple-minded brutes whose first instinct is to smash something until it stops being a problem. Crime lords, warlords, and slavers value them as enforcers, bodyguards, and gladiators, where their frightening strength and stubborn endurance can be turned into a profitable spectacle.

On Gamorr itself, clan warfare is a way of life. Boars live for battle, fighting endless conflicts over territory, honor, and perceived slights, while sows farm, hunt, and forge the heavy weapons their warriors prefer. Gamorreans distrust ranged weapons, viewing them as cowardly, and instead favor massive axes, hammers, and polearms that let them get close enough to feel bones break and armor buckle. Inter-clan grudges can last generations, and a wise employer learns quickly which clans can be trusted to stand side by side without turning on each other.

Though often dismissed as stupid, Gamorreans are better described as narrowly focused. They believe almost any problem can be solved with enough muscle, intimidation, or violence, and have little patience for nuance, diplomacy, or abstract thought. Their language is a guttural series of squeals, grunts, and snorts that outsiders find hard to parse, and while many Gamorreans understand Basic, very few can speak it clearly. Adventuring Gamorreans are usually escaped slaves, former gladiators, or mercenaries who have sold their contract to a new master—or chosen to fight for themselves for the first time.

    Home Planet: Gamorr
Physical Description: Gamorreans are tall, thickly built bipeds averaging about 1.8 meters in height, with dense green or occasionally pink skin layered over powerful muscles. Their faces are dominated by a broad porcine snout with large nostrils, heavy jowls, and upward-curving tusks that jut from the lower jaw. Small horns, close-set eyes, and a perpetually brutish expression make them instantly recognizable. They possess five thick digits on each hand and foot, including an opposable thumb, allowing them to grip large melee weapons with ease. Gamorrean males (boars) tend to be bulkier and more scarred from constant warfare, while females (sows) are somewhat leaner but no less tough. Personal hygiene is not a cultural priority—boars in particular are notorious for stained armor, unwashed gear, and a constant drip of mucus beneath their snouts.

    Average Height: 1.8 meters
    Average Weight: 140 kilograms
Age of Adulthood: 13 standard years

Personality & Customs: Gamorreans are violent, stubborn, and proud. They respect physical strength above all else and rarely back down from a fight, especially if they believe the enemy is a worthy opponent. Subtlety, patience, and diplomacy are not their strengths; most Gamorreans would rather charge than negotiate, and see clever wordplay as a weakling's trick. They live by a simple philosophy: if it can’t be smashed, it probably isn’t worth worrying about. Gamorrean society is intensely clan-based and, beneath the surface brutality, fundamentally matriarchal. Each clan is led by a Warlord whose authority is tied to his marriage to a powerful Clan Matron; sows ultimately control resources, territory, and long-term strategy, while boars wage war in their name. Clan feuds are constant, and victories in battle are the main currency of prestige. Offworld, Gamorreans most often appear as mercenaries, enforcers, or gladiators. Once hired, many prove doggedly loyal as long as they are treated fairly and allowed to fight. They relish crude insults, especially in their own tongue, and are not always offended by being called "pigs"—so long as the speaker is ready to back it up if a fight breaks out.

Languages: Gamorrean (no written form); many can understand Basic but rarely speak it clearly.
