Blaster Builder
Build your own blaster, one step at a time. Pick a type — pistol, rifle, heavy, or sniper — then tune the barrel, body, grip, power pack, and sight, each in its own material and with its own upgrade, and choose the bolt color. At the end, name it and hit Fire to send a bolt down the range, sound and all, then carry the blaster straight into the character builder. Every part is a real SWURPG component, so what you design is what you can actually play.

How the builder works
A blaster is an assembly, and this tool lets you make every choice, one part at a time. Step one is the type — a one-handed blaster pistol, a two-handed blaster rifle, a bulkier heavy blaster rifle, or a long-barreled sniper blaster rifle — which sets the weapon your character wields, each with its own damage and range. Then the power pack (its Chamber upgrade drives raw damage — an Amplifying Chamber for more punch, an Ion Chamber against droids), the sight (its Targeting upgrade sharpens accuracy — an Accuracy Scope for range, a Pinpoint Scope to soften a target), and the grip (its Grip upgrade steadies the shot — a Marksman Stock, a Defender Grip) each add their own edge. The barrel and body are cosmetic — pick the look you like — and the bolt color is whatever gas you load.
When your blaster is finished, fire it to see and hear a bolt streak from the muzzle. Then use New character with this blaster to drop the weapon into the character builder, where its upgrades arrive pre-installed in the Weapon Upgrades tab and you can finish a complete, playable hero. Frequently asked questions
Is the blaster builder free?
Yes — it’s free and needs no account to build and fire. Design as many blasters as you like; sign in only if you want to save one to your account.
Can I pick any bolt color?
Any color, including a custom hue. In SWURPG, bolt color is cosmetic — it reflects the blaster gas and has no effect on your stats.
Does the design carry into my character?
The blaster you build is a real SWURPG weapon, and the button drops it straight into the character builder with its Chamber, Targeting, and Grip upgrades already installed.
