About the Massassi Lanvarok
An ancient Sith throwing weapon turned polearm, the Massassi lanvarok was the primary arm of the brutish Massassi warriors bred by the Sith Lords of Korriban and Yavin 4 in the galaxy's dark antiquity. Where the Sith lanvarok is a delicate wrist mechanism, the Massassi version is a heavy two-handed haft that flings the same razor discs by raw strength alone — no machinery, no Force, just the muscle of a warrior-caste built for war. When the discs are spent the weapon is far from useless: the massive haft serves as a battle-axe, letting a Massassi hunter rake a foe at distance and then close to finish the work by hand. It is a relic of a vanished era, its use nearly lost with the Massassi themselves, and the few examples that survive in tombs and collections are prized as much for their menace as their history.
Notes
Rare. A two-handed Sith war-polearm that hurls the same razor discs as a Sith lanvarok — but by brute strength, not machinery or the Force. Launch a disc volley at range (1d8 Slashing), reloading between throws (an action); or wield the heavy haft as a melee battle-axe (1d10 Slashing), switching to melee with no action. The primary weapon of the Massassi warriors, savage at any range.
