Their origins lie in unethical gene-splicing projects that blended Arkanian DNA with that of other species, producing a wide spectrum of variants built for endurance, precision work, or environmental resilience. Despite their engineered strengths, the Offshoots were treated as second-class citizens at best and expendable property at worst. Their bodies are designed for labor and precision tasks, resulting in strong frames and dexterous hands despite their overall physical fragility.
