Character of the Week
Some hunters talk their way in. Some shoot their way out. Sigi does neither — she's a Zabrak Scoundrel on the bounty-hunter path who wins by being the one still standing when everyone else is spent. She tracks a mark across a system, closes the distance without a word, and takes them alive because that's the version of the job she can live with. This week's build is a study in the unglamorous kind of dangerous: no Force, no flash, just a body trained past the point most people quit and a stun baton she'd rather use than a blaster. You can open her up in the Character Builder and see exactly how she's put together.

The build
Sigi's sheet reads like a manhunter's résumé: everything points at closing distance, taking a beating, and breaking the mark's nerve before it comes to a fight.
| Species · Class | Zabrak · Scoundrel (Bounty Hunter), Level 6 |
| Defense | AC 16 · 60 HP |
| Does the work | DEX 16 (+3), STR 15 (+2), CON 14 (+2) |
| Best saves | Dexterity +6, Charisma +4 |
| Expertise | Athletics +8, Endurance +8, Intimidation +7 |
| Also sharp | Stealth +8, Pilot +6, Deception +4 |
| Species traits | Pain Tolerance, Indomitable Will, Focused Strikes, Iridonian Pride, Abrasive Demeanor |
| Signature kit | Stun Baton (Hunter's Arsenal), Vibroclaw Mk II worn on the fist, blaster pistol, Tactical Mesh Vest, binder cuffs, bounty puck |
Three Expertise picks tell you what she's for. Athletics and Endurance make her the hunter who never stops — over walls, up sheer faces, through the long night, letting a fleeing mark burn out while she keeps coming. Intimidation is where her Charisma actually lands: she's not a charmer, she's a wall of presence, and a Zabrak's Abrasive Demeanor leans right into it. Add Pain Tolerance and Indomitable Will on top of a d8 frame, and she soaks the kind of punishment that ends a chase in her favor.
Her gear is all about the capture, not the kill. The stun baton is her Hunter's Arsenal pick — she took the trait's bonus for a non-lethal weapon on purpose — and the binder cuffs and bounty puck are the rest of the plan. The one flourish is close-in: her Vibroclaw Mk II rides on the new Fist slot, worn over a holstered blaster, so she can draw and shoot and still open a throat at arm's length without ever swapping weapons. Build one like her and lean into the same idea — start in the builder and put every point into getting close and staying upright.
Where she's thin is exactly where it fits: low Wisdom means she's easy to lie to about feelings. Sigi doesn't read hearts, she reads leverage — a debt, a tell, a locked door — and it's never once slowed her down.
Her story
Sigi came up on Iridonia's spine-country, where a Zabrak child learns to climb before she learns to argue and a bad grip means a long fall onto rock. She was big for her clan even young — the kind of kid others stopped shoving after the first time — and she learned early that a hard look and a harder stance ended most fights before they cost anyone teeth. The tattoos across her cheeks and brow were cut for a rite she doesn't discuss; she'll tell you they're a map if she likes you, and nothing at all if she doesn't.
She didn't set out to hunt people. She ran cargo, then ran from a debt, then found that the man she owed had a price on his own head worth more than what she owed him. She collected it herself, alive, and something clicked. Live delivery paid better, the Guild took her seriously, and — the part she'd never say aloud — bringing a mark in breathing let her sleep. She kept the habit. The stun baton, the cuffs, the discipline to close the distance and put someone down without opening them up: a choice she made early and never renegotiated.
Now she works the Outer Rim off a ship she flies herself, a bounty puck's worth of contracts in the hold. She's not a talker or a schemer, whatever the word "scoundrel" implies — she's the hunter who finds you, outlasts you, and is simply, immovably there when you turn the last corner. Marks run. Sigi doesn't hurry. She has a Zabrak's discipline and a Zabrak's tolerance for pain, and she has never once been the one who tired first.
Build your own
Want a hunter who wins the long way? Open the Character Builder, pick a species and the Scoundrel path, and put your Expertise where the chase is won. Take a stun weapon and a set of cuffs if you like your bounties breathing — and if you want to fight up close, strap a knuckler or a claw to the Fist slot and keep your other hand on a blaster. However you build her, the best hunters are the ones who never stop coming.
