About the Beskad
The beskad is the traditional saber of the Mandalorians — a curved, heavy blade forged from beskar, the near-indestructible iron of Mandalore. Where other cultures prize a sharper edge or a lighter grip, the Mandalorians prize a blade that will not break, will not melt, and will not be cut — not even by a lightsaber. A beskad turns a Jedi's greatest advantage into a stalemate: the warrior who carries one can stand in a duel that would end anyone else in a single stroke, catching the glowing blade on cold iron and answering it in kind. Beskar is rare and jealously guarded, so a beskad is almost always an heirloom, passed down a clan line and re-forged as often as it is inherited. To draw one is to announce that its bearer comes from a people who learned, long ago, exactly how to kill the galaxy's swordsmen.
Notes
Rare. Beskar-forged: an iron saber that shrugs off lightsabers. It can never be cut, damaged, or destroyed by a lightsaber, and its wielder may use it to Block a melee lightsaber attack (as the Block reaction) even without Force training. Its dense beskar edge also ignores resistance and immunity to Kinetic damage.
