About the Holoshroud Armor
A holoshroud is a bounty hunter's answer to the marks who can feel a blaster pointed at their back. Fine holoprojector threads woven through a light armored bodysuit bend light around the wearer for a few precious seconds — long enough to slip a cordon, cross an open floor, or vanish the instant before a shot goes wide. It is not the sustained cloak of a stygium field or a Force-user's misdirection; the shroud drains fast and needs a rest to recharge. But a hunter who plans the approach rather than the firefight learns to spend those seconds well. The same projectors soften a silhouette enough to help sell a disguise, which is why the shroud turns up as often in a con as in a capture. Restricted in most systems, and worth every credit to the hunter who prefers to take a mark who never knew they were there.
Notes
Rare. A light armored bodysuit woven with a holographic shroud. Once per short rest, activate the shroud as a bonus action to become Invisible until the end of your next turn or until you attack. It also grants Advantage on Deception checks to impersonate another when paired with a disguise.
