About the Amban Phase-Pulse Rifle
The Amban phase-pulse rifle is an old Mandalorian design, a long rifle whose disruptor discharge does not merely kill but unmakes — a bolt that reduces flesh, bone, and gear alike to drifting ash. Din Djarin carried one through the far reaches of the Outer Rim, and the weapon's grim signature is exactly why hunters treat it with care: a mark disintegrated is a mark that cannot be delivered alive and a body that cannot be shown for proof, so the rifle is kept for threats a hunter wants gone rather than collected. The heavy stock doubles as an electro-shock prod, a charged staff for the moment a quarry closes to arm's reach, letting the weapon flow from a patient long-range kill to a brutal answer in a corridor. It is a specialist's tool, feared out of proportion to its numbers, and unmistakable in silhouette.
Notes
Rare. A Mandalorian long rifle whose disruptor bolt disintegrates whatever it kills: a creature reduced to 0 HP by the rifle form is reduced to ash, leaving no body, gear, or loot to recover — so it is useless on a mark you must bring in alive or show a body to prove dead, and best reserved for a threat you simply want gone. An electro-shock prod is built into the stock; switch between the rifle and the shock-staff as a free action.
