About the Retractable Hand Blade
A monomolecular blade folded along the ulna, driven out through a port between the knuckles by a spring charge. It extends in the time it takes to make a fist. The blade itself is unremarkable — a vibroblade cuts deeper and a vibro-axe cuts far deeper — and that has never been the point. The point is that a search finds a hand, a cuff does not disarm it, and the first anyone knows about it is usually too late to matter. Clinics that fit them tend not to advertise, and the better ones file the extension port down until it reads as a scar.
