Effect
As an Action, you gather your hatred into a single searing lance of dark-side energy and hurl it at one creature within 60 feet. Make a ranged Force attack (your attack bonus = your Proficiency Bonus + your Wisdom modifier) against the target's AC. On a hit, the target takes 4d8 Force damage. If you have taken damage since the end of your last turn, the bolt is fed by your own pain and deals an extra 1d8 Force damage. Where Force Lightning fans across a group, Bolt of Hatred is focused fury — one enemy, all of your malice, spent at once.
At the Table
Wounded and furious after a blaster bolt clips her shoulder, the acolyte spends 3 FP and throws a hand toward the fleeing officer 40 feet away. She rolls a ranged Force attack (Proficiency Bonus + Wisdom modifier) against his AC and hits — 4d8 Force damage, plus another 1d8 because the pain in her shoulder feeds the bolt. The officer folds.
In the Lore
The Sith incantation *Sutta Chwituskak* — "Bolt of Hatred" — appears among the sorceries Sorzus Syn recorded at the dawn of the Sith Order. Where the lightning of later Lords sprays raw energy, this older art gathers a single vector of pure malice and drives it into one foe, growing stronger the more the caster suffers. It is hatred made into a weapon, exactly as the dark side intends.
