Lore
The Kazellis-class light freighter was a sleek, elegant flying-wing design from the Kazellis Corporation — a joint venture of Human and Twi'lek shipwrights — that came off the line already better-equipped than most freighters. An advanced drive system gave it a real edge in speed over rivals like the YT-1300, and stock shields plus a quad laser cannon meant a buyer rarely needed to modify it to put it straight to work. That made it a favorite among smugglers who wanted a ship that was useful out of the box.
In keeping with the company's philosophy, almost everything aboard was easy to upgrade or replace — parts were fitted with universal joints and interfaces, so a mechanic could mount components from any manufacturer. The interior was comfortable and self-sufficient, coming stock with a machine shop, a medical bay, an armory, and acceleration couches, trading away some raw cargo space for the comforts of a true home in the stars.
The Kazellis was a short-lived line — the Corporation built only several hundred before the Empire forced it out of business — which left the ship rare, well-regarded, and a little legendary among those who knew it. (A Legends-era design.) For players it's a premium smuggler's freighter: fast, well-shielded, and ready to fly the moment you buy it.
